At Albyn School, we want to provide opportunities for all children who would benefit and thrive from the educational experience we offer. In order to do that, we support a range of Bursary Awards for children who might not otherwise be able to attend the School.
Our Bursary Awards are available for pupils entering P6 and above. Bursaries are awarded according to both academic ability and financial need. A financial assessment determines whether a full or partial award is made. As a general guide, these awards are made to families whose total gross annual household income does not exceed £80k.
Bursary applications should be made in September to mid-December for entry to the following academic year. All applicants must have submitted an Albyn School application form prior to applying for a bursary. The application form includes an option for indicating interest in applying for fee assistance and can be completed at any time.
Timeline for 2025 – 26 Bursary Award Applications:
Midday Monday 16 September 2024: Bursary portal opens for applications.
Midday Tuesday 17 December 2024: Bursary portal closes and bursary applications for 2025 – 26 will not be accepted after this deadline.
Saturday 11 January 2025: S1 Entrance Assessments conducted at Albyn School.
Saturday 18 January 2025: P5 – P7 Entrance Assessments conducted at Albyn School.
Assessments relating to entrance into other years will be arranged directly by the Admissions Team.
