Don’t miss this fantastic play tonight and tomorrow night at 7pm!
Introducing Jennifer M …
I play Rosalind, one of the central characters of the play who falls in love with Orlando but once banished to the forest of Arden by the Duke, she disguises herself as a man (Ganymede) and uses this appearance to trick Orlando. The best way i’ve found to get into character is by changing my posture and stance when portraying Rosalind or Ganymede.
My favourite moment has been playing with both the masquline and feminine aspects of the character. I’m most looking forward to seeing how the whole play fits together with the music and lighting as well as the costmes and props.
My favourite quote from the pay is “Do you not know i am a woman? when I think, I must speak. Sweet, say on.”
