We are pleased to inform you that Albyn School has now officially become a member of the HMC. The HMC (the Headmasters’ and Headmistresses’ Conference) is a professional association of heads of the world’s leading independent schools. It is a great honour for the school to become part of this organisation of just over 300 independent schools worldwide – it forms the strongest possible recognition that we are a high quality independent school.

But, at the heart of every HMC school is a commitment to the benefits of an holistic educational experience: academic excellence coupled with a strong emphasis on pastoral care and exceptional co-curricular opportunities. HMC exists to serve and support its members, to represent their views and to exemplify excellence in education.

Following a successful accreditation process earlier this academic year, we were informed just before the Easter holiday that our application had gone through its final stage and we were now officially members.
