Albyn School’s Closing Ceremony at King’s Church marks end of amazing year

Albyn School’s Closing Ceremony at King’s Church marked the end of an amazing year.

We extend our gratitude to Colin Boag, the Chair of Governors, for warmly welcoming everyone to the ceremony. A special thank you also goes to Headmaster Stefan Horsman for introducing the six key Albyn values, and to former pupil and guest speaker Rebecca Halliwell-Coutts for delivering an inspiring speech.

The audience today was treated to a magnificent performance of “Tomorrow” from our recent production of Annie. The School choir and soloists also mesmerised everyone with their rendition of Harry Styles’ “As It Was” and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Pie Jesu”.

Following these captivating performances, our pupils were presented with awards recognising their achievements and embodiment of the Albyn values. We took this opportunity to honour their unwavering dedication and hard work. Additionally, we celebrated outstanding accomplishments in both the Lower School and Upper School.

We were also delighted to hear from our outgoing school Captains, Simi and Dylan, as they welcomed the new Captains and Vice-Captains of Albyn School.

To our pupils, staff and families, we hope you all have a wonderful summer. And to our S6 leavers, we have every confidence that you will continue to shine brightly in all your future endeavours.
