Albyn School celebrates International Women’s Day

Happy International Women’s Day!

At Albyn School, we are shining a spotlight on the incredible women who have been a part of our journey since Albyn’s inception as an all-girls school in 1867.

From our visionary founder, Harriet Warrack, to pioneers like Isabella Asher, the first woman to achieve MA honours at the University of Aberdeen, to the exceptional female teachers and pupils shaping our community today – we honour their achievements and enduring impact.

Here’s to the strength, resilience, and brilliance of women everywhere!
