Pupils across the School had a great time last week celebrating all things science! Our P5 pupils learned how to filter dirty water for their IPC topic, Extreme Survivors. The P7/S1 Science Club looked at aerodynamics with rocket mice, viscosity and states of matter with oobleck, surface tension and effervescence and our S2 pupils enjoyed an insightful STEM day. Thank you to STEM Ambassadors Erinn Prentice from BP, Jillian Sandison from Wood Group and Jill Butler Rennie from E-Reps Network who came to help us throughout the day
We also recently held our second Call Me A Chemist session for primary school teachers from Aberdeen City and Shire funded by Royal Society of Chemistry
