We are seeking parents/guardians of Albyn pupils (past and present) to join our Board of Governors in a voluntary capacity as part of our ambitions to bolster and grow our complement of skills and experience.
Volunteers with the following skills/experience are of particular interest:
- Pastoral and safeguarding
- Wellbeing
- Educational
- Health and safety
- General business/commercial
- Fundraising
Governors are usually required to attend four board meetings per school year and one annual general meeting, as well as chair quarterly committees in their area of expertise, providing leadership, governance and guidance. As part of the role, governors should dedicate time to preparing for meetings, participate in training as required, and attend various school events during the year.
