The L2 hand washing routine:

⭐️ wet hands with water
⭐️ add hand soap/hand wash to hands
⭐️ walk to the back of the queue of pupils allowing enough time for the routine to be carried out properly
⭐️ rub the soap from palm to palm, rotating hands and fingers on each hand to get full coverage
⭐️ rub over backs of hands, fingers and nails
⭐️ rinse hands with water
⭐️ dry thoroughly with a paper towel
⭐️ use elbow or a paper towel to turn the tap off
⭐️ repeat throughout the day

There are signs in bathrooms, classrooms and corridors with reminders of how to wash hands properly.
