Miss Sinclair challenged her L7B class to write a poem about the world we are living in at the moment. Her pupils were given 15 minutes to complete this challenge! We wanted to share Anna’s excellent creation with you all 😊
Lockdown
As the days go by
We are still apart
For the safety of the world we know of
The past not repeated
The future still to seek
The roads become less and less
The streets become empty
No one in sight
All is silent
And yet
Still people travel for the needs of survival
And the pressure for the people who fight this disease
Education still strong
But the students not together
Striving for learning at home
Work statistics going down
Nobody in offices
For the health of the earth
New activities still to discover
Another world while we recover
From the scars of this disease
Covid 19
