Lower 6 visit to Peterhead Power Station



Recently, Lower 6 visited Peterhead Power Station to learn about a gas powered station and how electricity is generated.

This trip was very useful for the pupils while they study Black Gold as part of the International Primary Curriculum. 👨‍🏫

*This unit gives the children an insight into what oil is and how it is used. Pupils discover all about energy and what we use it for, how different products are extracted from crude oil, about the environmental impact of oil spills and oil use and about alternative energy sources and sustainable projects around the world.*
