At Albyn School we are educating for life and every year our pupils choose a variety of different subjects and destinations as they continue their educational journey.

The range of courses our leavers go on to study is fantastic, from Actuarial Science to Zoology with Herpetology (and so many different things in between)! In 2023, we saw acceptances for Sport Performance Analysis and Computer Game Applications Development for the first time. Four of the cohort accepted offers for medicine and one for dentistry. The University of Oxford is the chosen destination of one leaver who will study Law with French Law.

Many pupils choose to remain in Scotland but some venture further afield. The Universities of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Strathclyde and Aberdeen proved to be popular destinations in 2023 with members of the cohort also accepting offers in England, Wales and Canada. Others are taking places at college or broadening their experiences through a gap year.
