Let's give a round of applause for Albyn School pupil Jonny (P7) who recently achieved his Trinity Grade 8 in drums. It is truly remarkable to see such a young player reach the highest grade possible. His pieces included "War Pigs" by Black Sabbath and his favourite "The Spirit of Radio" by Rush because "this piece kept changing rhythm so it felt like multiple songs in one". Jonny, who has been playing drums since he was six years old, is an active member of Albyn's music department, playing in Senior Orchestra and Covers Band. Well done, Jonny!
