At Albyn School and Nursery we are nurturing the next generation; our broad curriculum and opportunities beyond the classroom encourage excellence and confidence. More than anything else, we want our pupils to be happy and enjoy learning.

Our size is our strength
We believe our school is the perfect size with year groups large enough for friendship groups to form but small enough for every face and every personality to be known. Your child will have many opportunities to develop themselves further, mastering skills they may already have and acquiring new ones while growing a commitment to learning from and collaborating with others.

Our Community
Albyn School Parents Association (ASPA)
All parents and guardians of our pupils become members of ASPA when their child joins us - it’s a great way to meet other parents and get involved.
Our Clans
When your child joins Albyn School, they will be allocated to a Clan in which they will remain throughout their journey with us. Our Clan system is in place for the whole school, including the Nursery, and is designed to foster a pride in clan identity as well as encouraging communication and collaboration between different year groups in the same Clan.

Fun fact - our Clan colour is yellow and our tartan is the Forbes Hunting Tartan!
Gordon Clan
Fun fact - our Clan colour is green and our tartan is the Gordon Cumming Tartan!
Stuart Clan
Fun fact - our Clan colour is red and our tartan is the Stuart of Bute Tartan!

We work closely with our pupils from S1 to S6 to prepare them for the next stage in their education and their future beyond Albyn. We recognise that all stages benefit from guidance in different forms and support each pupil to achieve the best outcome for them.
