Co-curricular

Introduction

A range of activities for all abilities

We believe in holistic education, encouraging pupils to engage in various co-curricular activities. From sports, to arts, STEM and cultural activities, our offering is designed to enrich the pupil experience and enhance well-rounded development.

Beyond the classroom

Co-curricular activities give our pupils a chance to pursue their personal interests and to meet like-minded friends. These societies and clubs often take place during lunchtime or after school and offer opportunities for our pupils to broaden their horizons and learn new skills.

Aside from sports, music and arts, we also cater for different interests such as chess, magazine and video, formula goblins (engineering), textiles and knitting, warhammer, history and homework club.

Our Co-curricular Activities

Every other year our Musical Theatre Club put on a show stopping performance of some of the world’s best known and much loved musicals. In 24/25 our club dedicated their time to bring ‘Matilda Junior The Musical’ to life. Past performances include Annie and the Sound of Music.

Music co-curricular activities encourage our pupils to express themselves creatively, build teamwork and improve cognitive skills.

If music is your child’s passion, or if this is their first introduction, we have numerous clubs for varying abilities; guitar ensemble, ukulele, pop singing, saxophony, cello, recorder, orchestra, vocals, covers band and choir.

For those who wish to take their skills to the next level, pupils can also sign up for individual music lessons with visiting instructors.

Our sport co-curricular activities not only promote physical fitness but also enhance social skills, teamwork and discipline. Pupils learn valuable life lessons such as perseverance, leadership and the importance of fair play. These activities provide a structured environment to release energy, reduce stress and improve mental health.

We have plenty of options available including; cross country, hockey, skiing, laser run, football, netball, rifle and pistol club, rock climbing, karate, running and golf.
