Albyn School is opening its doors for Doors Open Day 2024

Looking for something to do with the family over the weekend? Mark your calendar on Sunday 8 September for Doors Open Day 2024, where Albyn School will be opening its doors as part of the nation wide free festival that celebrates places old and new. What to Expect During your visit to Albyn you will have the chance to:

• Take a guided tour of our historic buildings: Admire the architecture of 17-23 Queen's Road, including our library and FP Centenary Hall.
• Explore the rich history of Albyn School: Learn how the School was founded and why we focused on educating women for entry to university in the late 19th century.
• Meet with current pupils: Hear first-hand from our prefects about their journey at Albyn School to date.

Our guided tours will run at 10am, 11am and 12pm. No advanced booking necessary.
