Our L7 classes have recently visited the Torry Battery to see how Aberdeen was defended during World War 2. They looked for evidence of defence around the Bay of Nigg, enjoyed a walk around the Rosemount area looking for more WW2 evidence and visited to an old air raid shelter which is still standing in the garden of a block of tenements.
