We are delighted to announce the reinstatement of the Albyn Schools Open Track Championships, which will take place on Tuesday 27 May 2025, after a 8 year hiatus. This event aims to provide a platform for young athletes to showcase their talents and foster healthy competition among schools.
Event Details:
- Date: Tuesday 27 May 2025
- Location: Aberdeen Sports Village
- Cost: £5 per event or £50 per school
- Age groups on 31 August 2025
- P6/7 (Independent Schools - Pilot event, The Aberdeen Schools Primary Championships will be held on Saturday 24 May at ASV and entries are online via the SSAA website.)
- U14 (S1-S2)
- U16 (S2–S3)
- Events: 100m, 200m, 800m, Long Jump, Shot Put, and Mixed Relay
- Initially maximum of 2 runners per event: We may be able to increase this depending on the number of entries. There will be heats and finals for 100m, 200m & 800m.
