Albyn Open Track Championships Are Back for 2025

We are delighted to announce the reinstatement of the Albyn Schools Open Track Championships, which will take place on Tuesday 27 May 2025, after a 8 year hiatus. This event aims to provide a platform for young athletes to showcase their talents and foster healthy competition among schools.

Event Details:

Date: Tuesday 27 May 2025
Location: Aberdeen Sports Village
Cost: £5 per event or £50 per school
Age groups on 31 August 2025
- P6/7 (Independent Schools - Pilot event, The Aberdeen Schools Primary Championships will be held on Saturday 24 May at ASV and entries are online via the SSAA website.)
- U14 (S1-S2)
- U16 (S2–S3)
Events: 100m, 200m, 800m, Long Jump, Shot Put, and Mixed Relay
Initially maximum of 2 runners per event: We may be able to increase this depending on the number of entries. There will be heats and finals for 100m, 200m & 800m.
