We would like to congratulate Aiden (S4), Aakash, Hop and Bennet (all S3) for for their outstanding second-place finish in the Independent Schools heat of the Scottish Enterprising Maths Competition!
Our pupils embraced the challenge of constructing a tower of Columbus Cubes and tackled a variety of maths problems throughout the day. Their shining moment came in the final round when, working in pairs, our S3 and S4 pupils managed to get through all 32 questions within the allotted time.
Team Albyn has earned their spot in the national final, where they will compete against schools from all corners of Scotland next month. Very well done and good luck!
