Bursary Awards Fund
Introduction
We believe that all children deserve the best education possible.
For that reason, we are passionate about extending opportunities wherever we can that allow children to benefit from an Albyn education.
We do this mainly through our Bursary Programme which allows us to offer places to those who might not be able to join our School otherwise.
Currently, we award various levels of bursary from P6 through to S6 to around 9% of our pupils and it is our hope to increase this level over time. Bursaries are awarded based on both academic potential and financial need, with a particular focus on supporting families from parts of Aberdeen facing the greatest socio-economic challenges, as identified by the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation (SIMD). Our aim is to ensure that an Albyn education is within reach for those who would benefit the most.
