Here is an exciting account of a recent musical experience at Strathallan School by S5 pupil, Alisa Q 
“In July, four Upper School pupils took part in The National Youth Orchestra of Scotland Senior Orchestra, after completing the spring course in April. Anna SB (S5), Ailsa Q (S5), and former pupils, Alistair G and Aaron M travelled to Strathallan for a week of rehearsals with world-renowned conductor, Jamie Phillips. The repertoire included Sinfonietta by Richard Rodney Bennett, Fairy Tales for Accordion by Václav Trojan with soloist and BBC Radio 3 New Generation artist Ryan Corbett, and Mendelssohn's Symphony No.3 Scottish Symphony.
This has been an invaluable experience being surrounded by the UK’s best young musicians and world class tutors.”
