Last term, our children penned fantastic letters to The King to celebrate his coronation. Their faces lit up with joy when they found out the School received a heartfelt reply from Buckingham Palace over the summer holidays. The letter said that The King was "deeply touched" by their "thoughtful messages". Head of Royal Correspondence said: "The King has asked me to thank you for your very kind letters, sent in celebration of Their Majesties' Coronation. "The King was deeply touched that you should have taken the trouble to write, and would have me convey his warmest good wishes to all of the pupils and staff at Albyn School. "I am to thank you once again for your thoughtful messages at this time of celebration." You can see some of the letters our children wrote below:
