On Thursday 15 September, all of our National 5 Biology pupils spent the day developing Unit 3 practical skills and knowledge. After a morning spent on Collieston beach, they visited a fantastic new vertical farming business called Vertegrow in Newburgh who produce delicious, quality food that's grown in a carbon-neutral way and sold locally. The pupils then returned to Aberdeen for lunch at Duthie Park before carrying out a transect by the River Dee. While the weather may not have been ideal, everyone made good progress with their learning!
