This week, our Higher and Advanced Higher Geography pupils travelled to the Lake District!
The pupils had a fantastic few days staying at the Blencathra Field Studies Centre where the they learned and developed their knowledge of soul catena and the beck in the Glenderaterra Valley.
They also had the opportunity to visit Easedale Valley and Grasmere where they conducted their own studies!
One of our Advanced Higher pupils commented, “Our trip was a very in-depth, valuable experience where we all loved being back out doing field work. The knowledge of our tutors at the field centre was great and their advice will be helpful when it comes to our geography studies this next year.”
